Adult Behavioral Health
A person who is struggling with his or her behavioral health is usually also experiencing one or more of the following stressors: depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief, addiction, ADHD or learning disabilities, mood disorders, or other psychological issues.
At Peace and Wellness Center we offer individual, group, couple and family therapy. Our primary planning focus is to design and develop individualized therapeutic approaches and strategies that target each client’s specific needs. Treatment specialties include depression, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and eating disorders.

We offer a variety of therapy groups for adults. Focus groups for interested adults include Family Dynamics, Women’s Empowerment, Divorced Couples, Parents of Special Needs Children, and Parenting Skills. Our team is always open to creating new additional group therapy curricula as we identify emerging needs within the community.
Family Dynamics greatly influence emotional stability and well-being, particularly for those who must learn to cope with multi-cultural family issues. Our Team has designed a “process” oriented group to work with those who are stressed about their relationship with family members from their countries of origin. We will discuss many topics and learn strategies for establishing healthy communication, resolving conflicts, developing mutual respect, setting personal boundaries, and adjusting to shifting family dynamics.
